Jarrah “Wiradjuri Warrior” Blackmore - Jiu-Jitsu Athlete
Jarrah Blackmore, 9 years old, is a proud Aboriginal boy with family and cultural ties to Wirajdrui (NSW) country and Wadjuk Noongar (Perth, WA) country, while also carrying
the lineage of Northern Irish ancestry. The essence of warriors runs through his veins.
At only 9 years of age the young man has achieved a multitude of achievements totalling 20 Gold Medals, 11 Silver Medal and 4 Bronze Medals across state and national tournaments.
Jarrah is a Grey belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training out of Perth Martial Arts Centre. Proudly supported by Father Gordon and mother Cherrie.
Joshua Buck - Jiu-Jitsu Athlete & Judoka
Joshua is a local Perth lad with a passion for the grappling arts having achieved his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu alongside his twin brother and fellow PYP athlete Zackary at the young age of 18. Joshua is also currently a Green belt in Judo. Joshua has developed a distinct personal grappling style that emphasis's a crowd pleasing, risk orientated approach, always hunting for inverted submissions and match ending Ippon's. Joshua displays a devastating front headlock attack system, dynamic open guard, creative leg attack and intimidating Judo base. Joshua's achievement's include -
Multiple Gold Medal winner at ABJJC, AFBJJ, Porrada Pro & SGT in Gi & No Gi Jiu-Jitsu.
Multiple Silver Medal winner at Judo Ryu Open & AIJ intermediate in Judo.
Zackary Buck Jiu-Jitsu Athlete & Judoka
Zackary is a local Perth lad and passionate grappler and Judoka. Zackary alongside his twin brother and fellow PYP athlete Joshua achieved his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Purple belt at the young age of 18 and is currently a Green belt in Judo. Zachary has developed his own distinct personal style of grappling after years of honing his craft. Zackary displays an atheistically pleasing blend of Jiu-jitsu and Judo that emphasises the fundamentals of grappling. Zackary exhibits a impassable open guard as well as a heavy fundamentally sound passing game on the ground. As for the feet Zackary is constantly threatening devastating Uchi Mata's and crafty Harai Goshi throws. Zackary’s achievement's include -
